Tejano music rock band Los Marcelles, of Odessa, Texas had a busy, busy schedule this past weekend in West Texas.

Los Marcelles plan to continue releasing great Tejano music, and plan to expand into other music genres.   During the next year the band will be touring throughout Texas.

JOIN THE BAND THERE as they learn the new social media!

Hacienda Records proudly presents the debut of a group of talented brothers who call themselves Los Marcelles. From the West Texas area, each member of Los Marcelles literally grew up in the music business. Their father, Marcial Chapa Sr., was an accomplished musician who taught his sons all about music and the 'music business. Frank Chapa leads Los Marcelles on bass and vocals. Brothers, Val Chapa on drums, Gabriel Chapa on bajo sexto, Danny Chapa on accordion and sax, and Marcial Chapa, Jr. on accordion and vocals combine to complete this truly family band. A sixth brother, Andy Chapa, works behind the scenes to manage all stage sound. Together this group performs in a regional Mexican style; complete with heavy percussive cumbias as well as sax and accordion rancheras. The group performs on a regular basis around the northwestern part of Texas and has opened for such talents as Michael Salgado and Los Palominos. The title song of their debut CD, "Recuerdos Del Ayer," was composed by Marcial Chapa, Jr.; in memory of his late father, Marcial Chapa Sr., to whom the album was dedicated.
